Designed by long-term collaborators, Studio McQualter, the boutique is primely located within Galleria’s unique atrium style luxury shopping precinct. Its striking visual openness draws clients in, where they’re met with the brand’s signature curation of contemporary art and vintage furniture that anchors the space. The rear window invites natural light, enriching the boutique’s ambiance. 

Clients are introduced to the space through three curated display windows, each offering a glimpse into the boutique’s rich interior. A standout vignette features a mannequin, set against a vibrant crimson backdrop. A Dutch Art Deco table presents a display of accessories, framed by fringe-detailed curtains and illuminated by a 1970s glass pendant overhead. 

The boutique unfolds across two retail spaces, where mirrored thresholds with custom mouldings amplify openness and light. In the main retail area, an oval marble table anchors the room with a jewellery display, while warm timber shelving highlights the expanding bag collection. The Ready-to-Wear collection is thoughtfully presented in a series of custom niches, guiding clients through to the second retail area and encouraging exploration. 

Artistic curation is central to the boutique experience – one focal point being the Reece King painting, crowned by a vintage wall light and visible from the storefront window. 

Clients are led into the lounge, where mirrored fitting room doors frame a painting by Australian artist Tom Polo, accented by a pair of opaque glass wall sconces. Privacy is honoured through generous, fabric-lined fitting rooms with dedicated seating and side tables. A moment for pause is luxuriously crafted by a reupholstered 1970s sofa, a pair of velvet lounge chairs, an Italian coffee table, and a custom green-and-blue striped rug – reflecting the boutique’s refined sensibility. 

The ZIMMERMANN Abu Dhabi boutique opens with the Fall RTW 25 collection, located at Level 2 of The Galleria, Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi.
